RULES OF ENTRY
TAMPA 2026 AU CONVENTION & RACE

December 2nd to 6th, 2026
3 Section Race: Short-Middle-Long 300-350 Mile Race
Station: Louisville GA.
3 Chances to Win 1st Prize of $25,000 + Breeder Elite Prize of $25,000!
Capitol prizes based on 1000 birds per section—If fewer birds are entered payout will be
based on number of birds per section. Breeder Elite Prizes based on 200 package entries.
• Must be 18 years of age and in good standing with the AU and Convention host.
• Must be a member of an affiliated organization (AU,IF,CU,MX).
• ACCEPTING BIRDS: February 1st to June 30th. Replacement until June 30th.
• 3 SECTIONS: SHORT: County line to the North MIDDLE: County line to Route 54 – LONG: Route 54 to the South.
• A handler may handle 100 birds (no limit per breeder). HANDLERS LIST to be posted soon.
• Prizes split 50% Breeder 50% Handler.
• NO HANDLERS can handle their own birds.
• NO HANDLERS can breed birds for others & handle those birds.
• NO BIRDS WILL BE SENT DIRECTLY TO THE HANDLERS (NO EXCEPTIONS).
• Top 10 birds in each section will be auctioned off. (1/3 breeder, 1/3 handler, 1/3 host)
• PAYMENT MUST ACCOMPANY BIRDS WHEN SHIPPED!
• Make checks payable to: Greater Tampa Bay Combine.

• Convention committee will handle all disputes.
• Greater Tampa Bay Combine will take 15% of all events for expenses.
• Drug testing will be enforced.
• TO ATTEND ALL HOTEL FUNCTIONS YOU MUST BE REGISTERED FOR THE CONVENTION.
• Convention registration cost: $275 per person until November 1st 2026, after this date of registration, cost will be $325/person.
• Room rates: $159 per night until October 1st 2026.
• Greater Tampa Bay Combine reserves the right to refuse entry or attendance.
